FAQ - Boat Rentals
Do I need a boat licence to rent a boat?
No. You do not require a Pleasure Craft Vessel License to rent a boat. We will provide you a safety checklist valid for the day.
What is Enhanced Insurance & Fuel Package?
Enhanced Insurance provides damage coverage greater than $2500 CAD. Enhance Fuel Package covers a pre-paid full tank of gas. No refill payment is required upon your return. All Vessels include a full tank of gas upon departure.
Hours of Operation?
8:30 AM - 6:00 PM / 7 days a week - In Season (May 26 to Oct 14)
Can I rent hourly or half day?
We only offer full day rentals. We offer Half-day rentals during weekdays weather permitting $350.00 for AM or PM time slots.
Can we bring a BBQ?
No BBQ of any kind should be used on-board our Vessels at any time. You can bring a BBQ and use it in designated areas of the Marina only.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. We are pet friendly marina & have a dog park too! All dogs must be on a leash at all times. A doggy PFD is recommended.
What safety equipment do we need to bring?
None. We provide all of the safety gear required including Life Jackets, safety bucket, horn, anchor, rope etc. If you have small children, please indicate age & size and we will accommodate you accordingly.
Bluetooth Stereo On-board?
Can I bring my fishing gear?
Yes, of course. No fish scaling or cleaning on our vessels or Marina property. Fishing license is required.
Can we use the facilities during our rental stay?
Yes, we encourage you and your guests to enjoy our facilities and amenities. Our gas dock attendants can provide access to washrooms and common areas.
Can I reserve more than one day?
Yes. If you require more than one day rental, we would be happy to assist in custom packages. Reach @: email@example.com
What type of boats are in your fleet?
Currently we offer 21 feet pontoons and 17 feet Bowrider - Sorry we don’t offer SeaDoo or Express Cruiser rentals.
What is the security deposit amount?
A security hold of $2500 is required with every rented vessel in the event of damage to the boat or engine/propeller.
If repair costs are less than the security hold amount, you will be refunded the difference. If no damage, the hold is released on the same day.
We can only accept the renter’s credit card to apply the security hold.
How does the booking work?
Simple and fast! All bookings are done online via our website. Select a date, vessel & registration page followed with 20% deposit (non-refundable) to reserve. An email confirmation will follow. On your rental day, once checked in we will charge the other 80% of the rental fee, along with a $2500 security deposit which is released upon your return pending no damage.
Are there any late fees?
Sadly yes…Late returns of $50 / each half hour & Max of 1.5 hours or additional daily rate applies. We cannot release our staff until all vessels have arrived for inspection, re-fuel and storage.
Do rates change?
Our standard season rates apply from May - June 30th. High Season begins July 1 to Oct 14th. Ask us for any promotional events…
What if the weather is bad on my rental day?
If the weather is bad or windy, we will be happy to reschedule your booking to another day, simply email us.
You will not lose your deposit.
What if I cannot make it that day?
We required 48 hours’ notice from your booking date in order to reschedule. If we don’t hear from you, the deposit is non-refundable and your vessel will be released by 11AM of the rental date.
What is the maximum number of people on each boat?
Our pontoon fleet carries a maximum of 9 occupants. Our Bowrider has a max capacity of 6 people.
